杜裕康教授畢業於臺大牙醫系並取得牙周病專科醫師，在英國里茲大學獲得統計流行病學博士學位。在里茲大學工作超過9 年後，杜教授回臺灣任職於國立臺灣大學公共衛生學院，目前擔任公共衛生學院副院長與健康資料研究中心主任。
杜教授的研究領域專精於「潛在變數模型(latent variable modeling)」、「因果推論」和「統合分析」。
Yu-Kang first trained as a dentist and periodontist before going to Leeds, UK, to study for a PhD in statistical epidemiology. After working at the University of Leeds for more than 9 years, he joined the College of Public Health at National Taiwan University in Taipei, becoming a full professor and director of the Institute of Epidemiology & Preventive Medicine. His research interests include latent variable modeling, causal inference and meta-analysis.
